Here's what Mrs J of E9 had to say about the mission:

Joyce said that Anna and Eva were fantastic and was really pleased with what they managed to do.

Mrs J of E9, mission beneficiary

Two hardy Hackney GoodGymers braved a sleety Sunday morning to help Mrs J with her garden.

Mrs J needed some help pruning some trees and plants in her lovely large Hackney garden. After starting with the smaller plants they got stuck into the privet tree at the end of the garden. With Anna snipping the high branches with the pruning shears and Eva tackling the lower branches with the clippers, even the weather couldn't put them off when the rain turned to sleet. After an hour or so the tree was finished and they moved on to the clean up, carrying large handfuls of branches out to the garden waste bins. I hope your tree likes its new haircut Mrs J!
