I was followed on today’s mission by a Herring Gull for about 50 metres along Deptford High Street, presumably hopeful that Mr J’s shop had included some fish from Iceland, it hadn’t. It was the normal fayre of heavy and bulky items, soft fruit plus choosing some red wine for him.
