Lots of reflections on the epic talent in the building at Birmingham Christmas Shelter! I supported in ‘Main Hall’ and a few other areas during this shift, including going to cheer on guests in Shelter’s Got Talent - lots of great singing, some beatboxing and fantastic dance moves! I helped our team leaders in other areas too - sharing briefings on shower shuttling systems, swapping volunteers between areas to create a more tailored, diverse experiences of the shelter, and briefed volunteers joining the next shift as I clocked off from my duties. That’s another busy day in a bit of a nutshell!
