10 fearless East Londoners rocked up yesterday eve, on one of the wettest Wednesdays, since Wednesdays began. Joined by our previous GGN stalwart, Peter, for a one-off cameo appearance while he's in London soaking up the World Champs.

Our warm-up and chat was of the brief variety, as it didn't seem a good idea to stand about in the rain - running in the rain though, a great idea. So off we set, through a grey and soggy Newham, leaping over puddles towards Cody Dock. An indoor task was arranged by Simon - planting seeds. We filled large plastic containers, tamped (I learnt a new word) them down, then put a couple small holes in each one, lobbed some seeds in and then filled it in. I feel this may be the catalyst I need to start a herb garden. We took few group snaps and then pegged it on back, with hot food and a social to return to, our journey back was incentivised. Had a sumptuous meal in Busaba with you'll, can we do pizza next time? Please?!?!

Next week we are back at the Community Theatre, where many hands seriously come in handy, we can do so much more sign up here

ps The month GG social is in Southbank tonight, if anyone wants to meet all the people from different areas. They are all pretty lovely , check it out

Have a corking weekend and see you next week
