We continued our weekly Thursday session with St Nicks. There is an ongoing project where the becks are going to be fully opened and there are currently spots where ground investigations will take place; these areas needed to be cleared so the work can take place. There were also brambles that needed cutting back and an overgrown path that needed clearing so plenty of work for us!

We all jumped straight in (except for Ed and Debs who were busy eating pizza) and got to work scything, cutting and doing the general destruction we are known for. We were even lucky enough to see a fox up close (although not lucky enough to get a good picture). As much as Egg wanted to play with it, we let it be and continued our work. After an hour and a half, we all finished trimming the overgrown path and were moving any piles left...

"Stop cutting!" - Emily

...except we just couldn't stop cutting any of the bits we missed and adding it to the piles. By the end, the path looked suitably cleared!
