Today 6 of us took up the task of sowing seeds for the Friends of Turnham Green group. Jenny, Ben, Helen, JP, Chris and Milly made it. There was a little time mix up but we used our noodles and figured it out!

But first, Coffee, while we contacted the relevant people. Following the re-group Milly and JP went to find Jan the lady we were meeting following instruction from Anna over the phone. Tools acquired and we were off.

We needed to rake up and turn the soil to allow for wildflower seeds to take hold. Apparently they do this every year and many local residents stopped to compliment on how they were looking forward to this and how beautiful it can be.

Rake it til' you make it.

Ben got stuck in and we all followed his lead, taking turns with the various tools as the ground was fighting back. This even included tea spoons; essential for later.

Couple of strimmer issues, nothing Chris and JP couldn't fix, with a quick run home for Chris and borrowing utensils from the coffee shop for JP.

We came, we sowed, we conquered.
