I went along to help with the Saturday sorting shift at Cannock Foodbank.

We sorted through the donations according to their expiry dates, after which we labelled the food items and put them on the shelves in their respective places. We managed to get through the donated items relatively quickly, after which we helped to move some crates around to free up some space ahead of a delivery tomorrow.

The find of the day was by the warehouse manager who found that someone had donated a food item which expired in all the way back in 1994!
