Back to the Desborough clinic for a morning shift after months. My entire shift was at the main door for which I was glad. Apparently there were a lot of volunteers and not much to do inside #luckyme.

It was a steady trickle, my guess would be about 300. From under 15 to over 75, the age groups couldn't be more different! The younger cohort came with teddy bears, the older came with walking frames; everyone needs a little support when going for a jab :)

The highlight was a little girl (no more than 5), who came bouncing and said - with a finger in front of her - "can I get a vac-x-ci...nation here?" Adorable! Then there was the boy who's stuffed toy was named Huggy-Wuggy (win for the name!) and a stuffed squirrel named, Squirrel.

There were grumpy teenagers, elderly bikies, two wedding parties at the town hall, a very inviting looking Hoppy Place setting up tables and umbrellas outside, a wonderfully informative fellow volunteer. All made the shift go by fast.
