Saltwell Juniors gave us a GREATshead start to Sunday

I absolutely loved this morning!

We always manage to spend longer in the cafe after Junior parkrun, and maybe that's kind of the point! There's always a warm glow after helping out at a parkrun and this morning definitely gave us all the warm fuzzies.

Six of us got Sunday off to a flying start lending a hand at Saltwell Junior parkrun in Gateshead where we covered a variety of roles.

• Aimee and Michael were marshalling

• Debbie and Tanya were Tail Walking/ dancing/ skipping

• Charlotte was on finish tokens

• I was time keeping

There was a huge turn out of over 70 children this morning and it went by without a hitch (despite Charlotte temporarily dropping the tokens!). We spent around an hour in the cafe afterwards catching up on everything including Michael's brilliant Seville Marathon experience.

We will definitely be back!
