Junior Park Run 170

This morning 6 GG Woking members helped out at Woking Junior Park Run. Adam, James, Wayne, Victoria, Rich, & Alys carried out various roles to help the youngsters run around the 2k course.

It had been raining all night and there were puddles around the course but that did not stop the 88 kids who turned up, and they all did some fantastic running.

This was Alys last stint helping out at a GoodGym task as Alys fly’s out tomorrow to Canada 🇨🇦 to do some travelling. Alys is a very popular & active member of Woking Goodgym and will be sorely missed, but we will all keep in touch with her while she’s away 😄

Next Week there are two tasks Wednesday we will be at the food bank carrying out cleaning duties & on the Thursday we will be at Woking Park assisting a local running club (No Sweat Run) with their NHS couch to 5K programme, assisting and supporting the community getting into running. It would be great to see volunteers there. 🏃🏼‍♂️
