Massive thanks to my colleague AK for the pun. Puns are NOT this GoodGymmers strength!

David and I turned up at Ms C's house in central Clapham on a very, very wet and rainy Tuesday evening. Unseasonably chilly, we were excited to get to work on our task, despite the rain, much to Ms C's disbelief!

We couldn't actually help her with the very tall tree overhanging her garden and recommended a tree surgeon, but, undeterred, we set about weeding, shovelling up piles of wet leaves, all the while chatting about David's incredibly impressive first time marathon effort (3:14! It takes me almost that long to run a half! Ok not quite, but...) and our experiences of Glastonbury.

We left a very happy Ms C who told us her faith in people had been restored by the help she received, so much so that she wanted to take us out for a drink! We set off to our respective homes, very damp, a bit chilly, but knowing we'd made a difference.
