"I feel so organic"- Lindy Macfarlane
At the Thorlands community mission, our dynamic trio of GoodGym volunteers, Nathan, Lindy, and Mikhail, took on tasks that would have stumped the average Joe. Led by the indomitable Simon, Nathan made like a mole, shifting soil with enviable enthusiasm while also partnering up with Lindy for a dual act of bricks and sleepers. Speaking of Lindy, she was in her element, exclaiming, "I feel so organic!" during lunch, and who could blame her? Between her knack for weeding and Mikhail's unexpected talent in budlier bashing, the Thorlands mission felt less like work and more like a party. And to top it all off, Simon treated everyone to a delightful homegrown pumpkin stew, making it a day to remember! Whether it was the disappearing act of the rubble, the creative repurposing of cedar poles, or the simple act of recycling cardboard, these GoodGym heroes made sure that Thorlands was left better than they found it.
