Fran, Jack and David played a three way relay to provide support for the Trinity Hospice Magnolia Walk on a beautiful sunny Sunday at Clapham Common, Northside.

The front lawn of Trinity Hospice provided the space for the sponsored walkers to register, give monies, collect goodie bags, tee shirts and congregate before being led off in three waves. There were two, five and ten mile courses with large groups coming to support or remember friends and family who had benefitted from Trinity’s care.

The tranquil rear garden of the hospice supplied the venue for the barbecue, drinks and entertainment after the weary walkers returned in the glorious afternoon sunshine. Burgers, sausages, wine, beer, juice, balloons and sherbet Dip Dabs gave an array of distractions for everyone whilst relaxing on the lawn.

The day’s cordial proceedings were concluded and packed away by a most congenial five o’clock.
