GoodGym Newcastle's first coffee run took place on a cool but sunny Sunday morning, with the destination being Fork in the Rose in Heaton.

A gentle two mile run was followed by cake, Turkish eggs plus an assortment of hot and cold drinks. Despite all the chatter about how running and swimming can cause pain and soreness, no GoodGymers were hurt in the course of the day.

The coffee shop was rather busy with no free indoor tables, but it was also extremely hot and humid inside, so it wasn't an unwelcome banishment to sit outside in the sunshine, even if it was a little cold.

Please look out for our next coffee run so that you can come and join us!
