Mission

Rooting out the weeds

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

On a sunny Saturday morning Anna and I met on a familiar road in Peckham, both of us having been there in the past for other missions. Our job for the day was to clear the back garden of the weeds that had been getting out of hand for for a while. Ms H used to be able to maintain the garden herself but is no longer able to. Luckily for us the weeds came up pretty easily and after an hour or so Ms H came out to check how we were doing and chat with us. By the end we'd filled four brown bags and left the garden looking much more tidy.
