On a lovely sunny Saturday morning two runners from neighbouring boroughs of Southwark and Lewisham met at the home of an older person who needed assistance in moving a very large armchair. We were met by Mrs P's brother who showed us the way and told us that the armchair needed to be moved out of the front bedroom into another room to make way for a a brand new piece of furniture which would help improve Mrs P's life by allowing her more mobility.

With some clearance of the route between the two rooms, and some clear instructions on pivoting, we soon got the armchair into the other room where it was to be collected and removed. This allowed for so much more space in the front room for the new item of furniture. With the task completed we were soon on our way back into the glorious sunshine.
