I really looked forward to supporting Mr A. He was so polite and always so grateful. We always had a brief social distant chat about running, cycling and walking. He joked that my 5km rub this morning was very slow and he could hear me even with his walking stick! He really was someone who cared about people. The Coronavirus crisis certainly was heartbreaking but it is bringing communities together more closely. Mr A provided me with his list which we double checked and he added at the end “ you know how much I love those rice pudding tins, if there’s enough money spy a few more won’t you dear “. There was money left over so managed to get some rice pudding treats - successful mission!
