Liz and I met up for the first of a Goodgym double mission, although I was to find out that Liz was doing a Goodgym TRIPLE. Great work, keep it up! Building up those good deeds was the order of the day.

On a sunny but windy day we were tasked with repotting two lovely plants for Mr JL and Ms G. They stood tall and towered over us, luckily they were not too heavy; we carefully manoeuvred each plant onto the balcony for some messy business.

Being out on the tall balcony, we took in the great view over London. Ms G told us how she was once able to see the Houses of Parliament in Westminster before many newer buildings obstructed the view. It was still a lovely vantage point.

Using our hands and gloves as the best tools for the job, we were gentle so not to damage the beautiful plant. Clearing out the old soil from the pot, slowly but surely we filled two bags. The plant loosened from the pot and we were finally able to get it out. Under Ms G's guidance, we trimmed some of the roots, positioned the plant back into the soil. Now onto that we were experts, onto the next one. Speedily we repotted the second plant and it was job done.

What joy the plants gave her, she had had them for over 25 years! We were happy to give them some fresh soil and nutrients for many more years to come for Mr JL and Ms G to enjoy.

Another good deed done, see you at the next one!
