Pete, Tracey and I volunteered at Markeaton junior parkrun this Remembrance Sunday. Tracey and I met Andy, the run director, and his son at the Mundy Play Centre car park and we all brought the equipment to the start, where Pete joined us. We and the team then set up the start. Pete was a marshal, keeping the runners on the right course; Tracey was the tail walker following them, and I was handing out the tokens at the finish. This meant that Tracey actually ran 9k! Pete wasn't able to join us for the parkrun Freedom; Tracey and I had a gentle 5k run around the course, then a cool down run to the car, just in time for the 2 minute silence.
