Today, I went along to Aston University to help out the AWS with sorting food and packing food parcels. Although there has been a reduction in those who are socially isolating, there is still an urgent need for food etc. amongst those who have been financially impacted by COVID-19.

I largely undertook general packing duties today, which entailed going round with a trolley and filling up the bags with various items. I also helped with cardboard recycling duties.

Towards the end of the shift, a fellow 'packer' suggested a race to see who could pack 6 bags the quickest, whilst keeping things organised, and about 5 of us took part in this. I did not win, but it was a nice light-hearted bit of fun and is the inspiration of this week's run report.

Again, the time flew by and we were all finished and ready to close down by 15:30.
