Sam and Beth visited the Three Pigeons plot to weed and water - it had become rather overgrown with persistent mint determined to take over what space there was, along with various other weeds. Beth set to work on this, while Sam did a sterling job of watering, in particular soaking the acers and those recently planted by the different benches on the path. A surprise collection of stinging nettles made the task a little interesting - but was swiftly dealt with. Some of the picked mint was taken home for planting (Sam) and mojitos (Beth - medicinal for the stings...)

Love that you both found a use for the mint. It smells amazing when it grows wild.
