The Wingman lounge at Ashford Hospital Education Centre is still open Tuesday and Thursdays 11-3pm, so I've transferred volunteering over there. It's a much smaller room set up, but thankfully without having to move around, so my co-host was Sabine from BA, who came with a variety of international goodies to represent the forthcoming return to travel next week to green zone countries after lockdown. We were very quiet for the first hour but then a sudden influx of visitors came in and made a beeline to the massage chair in the corner which is a welcome relax for staff who are both on their feet or sat at computer desks. The Wingman team will continue to operate with furlough and unfurloughed crew through May and into June rosters.
