After an unfortunate twist to the ankle on Thursday's mission I decided to dust off my old wheels and give this mission a go on a bike as it was a prescription pick up so I wouldn't have too many bags. Getting my old hybrid bike down three flights of stairs was the tricky bit. Then taking on the hills of North London with completely flat tyres made for a good workout even over the short distance to Chalk Farm. Nice and easy mission, with thanks to the incredibly friendly pharmacists who had all of Ms M's prescription ready for me to swing on the handlebars round the corner to her flat. She was incredibly thankful for all the help she has received from GoodGym. I was then able to get my bike to the bike shop in Kentish Town to buy a pump. What I forgot to consider as I bought the big floor pump was how to get it home. So ended up walking back to Finsbury Park, bike in one hand and pump in the other. Thank you to Ms M for persuading me to get the bike out for days when my body just doesn't quite feel up to running.
