Once the #Waterblitz & run session with John was over and I happened to find myself near one of the longer running sites of the Wanstead Community Gardeners, what could i do but to have a browse to enjoy the flowers?

Unfortunately there was quite some litter spread around as well, so after missing out on the September Park challenge at the weekend, a plogging session seemed very much appropriate! One bag done, on I went.

Down at the river Roding there was some more floating on the water as spotted the other day in passing. Turned out someone else was doing some #Waterblitz testing there as well! Nice chat over, on down the river path it was, weighted down by about 5kg of rubbish, hoping there would be a bin on the way.

At the junction with a couple of side paths someone started a bin, but it was overflowing and bits blowing all over the place. Once all the bits were gathered and bagged up, the council was alerted to the growing pile awaiting their attention.

All done in time to get home for lunch!
