After a windy Southsea parkrun with a PB for Maura (congrats!) and a first time run for Manuel we headed east to the Coffee Cup to get involved with the monthly beach clean.

We were joined by Lynn, Maxine & Jason who had taken the option of a slower paced start to the day.

We all headed towards South Parade Pier, wrestling with the bin bags in the wind. It was a day for good eyesight as most of the litter we found was small and plastic... Cotton buds, a pen lid, bottle caps etc.

No buried treasure to report, let's hope we're luckier on the Great Salterns pick tomorrow!
