Mrs C needed some help getting her rotary line back up after the winter so Dave and I stopped by to provide a bit of assistance.

All we needed to do was to push the stake back into the ground and re-arrange the line evenly around the supports, but as sometimes seems to happen on missions things proved a little more fiddly that expected. The ground was rather soft and having improvised with a biscuit lid and hammer to drive the stake in further, the washing line did still have a slight lean to it when we had finished. It seemed stable enough though so hopefully this is just a cosmetic issue and Mrs C can catch up on her washing (when the rain stops!)

Mrs C was absolutlely lovely and there was plenty of laughter in the process so all in all, it turned out to be a productive and happy afternoon.
