6 GG Yorkies made it from various locations by cycling or running to Hartrigg Oaks residential home. Unfortunately despite Ed’s heroic efforts to do two missions in an evening he had bike issues and could not make it. Nice try, Ed (do we suspect Craig sabotage?!).

On arrival we were met by the wonderful and welcoming Tracey.

We split ourselves amongst the residents and kept them entertained with conversations and games. Leanne and Tristan proceeded to play a card game with the resident. There was an air of suspicion that Leanne or her team mate may have had magic shuffling and dealing skills as she and her team mate kept winning. Paul was talking away and playing games on his table. He worked out he was the odd one out on his table as he was the only one not called Audrey. Carl, Jo and Huw chatted and had fun.

It was great to see the residents get involved, have fun and hear their stories.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening for GoodGymmers and the residents. The residents are looking forward to next Wednesday games night.
