Last night's task was a run out the amazing workshop of Plastic Shed to meet Camilla.

We are Plastic Shed, a Community Benefit Society based in Stockport.

Plastic Shed unite people around the issue of plastic pollution. We do this by providing lots of different ways for people to get involved with reusing plastic waste locally.

They work with people in the community to turn our plastic waste into new useful things, our approach simultaneously helps to strengthen community cohesion, empower people to take action and support individuals' health and wellbeing as they get creative with the materials and contribute to a meaningful project.

Plastic Shed are in the process of a large scale mural in the centre of Stockport and needed help to sort some of the 250,000 bottle tops they have collected for the mural.

Laura took purple, Sian took purple and Ben took silver. We sifted and sorted while chatting away and learning all about the exciting projects that Plastic Shed have in the pipeline.

It's amazing how therapeutic colour sorting is!
