This was a really enjoyable mission - it took me a while to work out how to fix the screening to an existing screen on Mr D’s balcony but once I had done that it was straightforward. Mr D then asked about several other DIY tasks and whether GG could help - most would involve power tools so we couldn’t. However, he was really happy that I spent time with him going through how could hang a couple of mirrors and more particularly renovate an iron table and chair for his now secluded balcony. We also had a chat about a lost railway line whose flattened embankment his flat is now on that Pissarro painted a bit further along.
