Learning of our assignment to visit Mrs T, Michelle messaged to say was sure she’d met herbivore (ha!) To our delight we’d been cast for part 2 of Mission Impossible; the sequel to Remy, Andy and Michelle’s challenge in December, and we couldn’t wait to dig in!

Mission Possible 2: Hydrangea Protocol

We started in the front garden, litter picking, weed pulling and carefully cutting the dead heads from Mrs T’s beloved hydrangeas to encourage them to flower and grow. Also attending to the plant boxes on the windowsill to ensure a pleasant view from Mrs T’s living room, giving her a little wave!

(Not) waiting on a tree to fall...

We had plenty of time left to tackle the rear garden too, repeating our weed pulling ritual in between the paving and along the flowerbeds. Michelle spotted a fallen tree (it was already down, no need to yell timber!) in the corner and together we managed to lift and stabilise, which made such a difference!

Upper-body workout done, Michelle brushed up (we always brush up) and we took our 2 bursting black bags to the bin stopping via the Henry hoover, oops (oh, we always clean up!).

Mrs T praised us in a job well done and was so happy with the result, she wanted to make another GoodGym donation to show her appreciation! We were so glad to have made a difference and put a smile on her face, it put a spring in our step for the run home.

To be continued..?

A future trilogy in the making, should any fellow GoodGym members choose to accept the mission...
