Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Paul Bonner
A litter picking community mission spread over the weekend.
On Saturday morning (in lieu of parkrun) 5 GG-pickers headed down “Old Purton Road”, a path next to Purton Road which used to be the old road before they built the new one. Teresa explained it all, in between chatting to numerous people she knew swho walked past. Thanks to Mike for providing pickers and Simon for picking up bags. Most interesting finds = hub cap and tea mug.
Saturday afternoon Kirsty and Tracey tackled a parkrun course at Seven Fields. Most interesting find = toy dinosaur.
Rounding off Saturday Ashleigh and Rhoda hit the streets, no evidence of interesting objects. Perhaps it was treasure so didn’t want to provide photographic evidence.
Adam and Sam had a nice couples walk and pick. Adam’s first litter pick, he looked like he enjoyed it. Most interesting object find = love and affection ahhh
Sunday
Finally Coate Water crew, 5 GG-pickers which by looks of picks included Tracey again, no evidence of anything interesting found (other than Tracey) but a good story of looking out for someone having a wee.
Sounds like we got lots of nice comments from passers by thanking us. Was great to be able to meet up again, even if no contact allowed yet (other than litter picker handshakes).

Haha good comments thanks Paul. Coate water finds were mainly picnic orientated. So pizza boxes and wine!!
