Ian and I met en route to the mission and got to work dismantling the bed... We then maneuvered ourselves downstairs with the various pieces, and Ian fortunately spotted a way to get the big main part down without unscrewing the bannisters/trellis. The only thing that did have to be removed was a dangling mobile of floating penguins! Mrs G was very happy to have the bed moved to make space and even made a donation to GG to say thanks. The sun also came out just as we finished - success!
