This weeks run saw Eleven sets of Super Legs for our 4k run tonight and Hands a plenty to get to grips with the task of finishing painting the Quiet room at Manvers Baptist church.

A very warm welcome tonight to a super couple of Newbies to Goodgym Bath Emily and Matt. It`s always great to have new people along so please tell your friends and colleagues about the good things we do at Goodgym. Emily and Matt arrived nice and early which gave Steph a chance to talk about the different ways to get involved with Goodgym from our weekly group runs to Coached runs to isolated elderly people for those wishing to be paired up.

The rain held off again tonight as the group warmed up outside with a headcount and intro, it`s funny how this always gets confusing in some way either by name or number and this week it was Hermione's turn at number 8.

The group headed out at a steady pace (the long way around) with a chance to chat and get to know each other taking in the Weir in the beautiful night lights. we took advantage of a regroup and picked up the pace with some SPRINT THREES for 5 minutes or so before moving on along the way to st Johns church and some tricep dips.

Our final leg out tonight towards the east side of Bath before heading back into the centre towards the Abbey with another chance for a re group in the form of lunges and squats whilst Joseph and Ellen delivered a few flyers for Age uk at the Library.

A last push on to our final destination at Manvers Baptist church where we were greeted by our lovely host for this evening Peter who is a pure fountain of knowledge and useful hints and tips.

The group split into 6 and 4 for the task with the bulk tackling the quiet room upstairs and the remainder of our lovely ladies on INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY funny enough taking on the challenge of emulsioning the ladies toilets. Joseph and Emily opted for the picture rail and Matt,Emily and Alexandra painting that skirting Red or Cerise, I never did read the name on the tin.

Great to see the group chatting away whilst they worked tonight although Peter decided that if anyone failed to cut in to standard tonight they would face a penalty of 50 press-ups and Alexandra managed to replicate kissing the wall with a shade of rouge ( that's for you Axel) lucky for her Steph's confusion of names led to Hermione getting the blame. The ladies made light work of the LADIES on this fine day. AKA Ellen ,Rosie, Mim and Anne.

We spent 40 minutes on the task tonight which gave us just enough time for a group photo with our host before making our way back to the leisure centre for a stretch out and chat about tonight's Pun and although we had lots of good ones bouncing around I have gone with Hermione's A- cause I like it and B- cause I blamed her for painting the wall.

A quick sprint back and stretch out and reminder to bring your ID to the next group run if you want to get paired up.

Thanks Guys you are all truly amazing.
