For tonight’s task we headed to The Courtyard. Previous visits have seen us clean tables, weed the flower beds ready for the organic garden, move tree trunks and paint the raised flower beds. But tonight we were back inside helping to spruce up the communal room putting a fresh coat of paint on the projector wall - a nice warm November task!

After the run there we were greeted by Michelle, offering us a drink and setting us to work. Chris, Fiona and Liam got to work cutting in while Sam was up on the ladders painting the top of the walls. Never to miss a good deed, Rachel joined us at The Courtyard - she can’t run currently due to the blisters from her new trainers (you’ll break them in soon we promise Rachel!).

Whilst painting, Michelle was entertaining us with the plans for her upcoming trip to Philadelphia. Being a hardcore Rocky fan, she’ll be doing a film tour and seeing all the sights including the famous steps - maybe Michelle should join us for one of our hill fitness sessions to help her prepare for that challenge!

Once the time was up and we’d done as much as possible, we headed on our way back to base - no chance for a fitness session tonight as there was too much painting to do! Fiona is recovering well from her foot operation and successfully cycled off on her bike complete with new lights.

Next week we’ll be doing good once again. It’ll be good to see you there.
