Care4Calais are a charity which deliver emergency aid to refugees and those affected by the European migrant crisis. They are currently in the process of moving their donation sorting location from Central Manchester to Stockport and require help to begin sorting and unloading donated goods to help support the charity to get the goods to those most in need.

Last week's task saw us boxfittng our way through bundles of clothes and this week we were AWASH with an array of toiletries.

Care4Calais had kindly been donated a large bulk of various toiletries and our task was to create 'pamper packages' for women, to be distributed to those in need.

Each pack contained shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, soap, shower gel, deodorant and even a non essential luxury item. Our task, or jigsaw, was to package the items into neat packs.

We ran the task like a (well OILed) production line while chatting away about important topics, like tortoises, travel and smoothie recipes.

In just over an hour, we had managed to fill 100 bags, ready for distribution and then set off running to make a CLEAN getaway!
