Two GoodGymers, including Jane for the first time (yay!) joined Walsall Community Litter Watch for the start of the Great British September Clean at Walsall Arboretum.

The arboretum is quite well maintained, but we still managed to fill a few bags full after finding rubbish in the likes of the bushes. Walsall Arboretum is a lovely space and it was nice to be able to contribute a little bit by clearing litter. It was also great to meet people from Walsall Community Litter Watch, including the coordinators, and we will hopefully get involved with some more of the events planned over the coming weeks.
