Saturday saw Good Gym return to Westcombe Woodlands, a beautiful and fairly secret wooded space behind Maze Hill station. The task was already a winner as we were joined by not one, but two, brand new Good Gym volunteers; welcome to Good Gym Liv and Mady.

We were met by the wonderful volunteers and were we led up the hill to the task which was to clear an area to transfer two trees, a beech and a mysterious interloper, to. The group split into two with one group clearing brambles and ivy in the spot to receive the two trees and one digging out the beech tree ahead of it's transplant. After 90minutes of hard graft the new space was bramble and ivy free and the beech was sufficiently dug out for us to hand it off to the volunteers. Another fun task was thus complete for another month.
