A nice little weeding task in Hounslow.

Mr and Mrs M have been very active in caring for their garden over the years, until recent times when ill health has meant their son has had to step in.

Mrs M was keen to offer coffee and tea and tell me how much she enjoys her garden. Mr M has dementia and she and her son spend time caring for Mr M. Her son had made lots of headway on the back garden but hadn’t had time to finish the weeding around the pond and the outer edge. An hour of weeding and chatting beside three very active and friendly fish before it was time for me to leave.
