Lambeth

Mission

On the O-fence-ive

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Sunday, 29th of October 2017

Mridula and I met on a chilly Sunday afternoon to paint Ms M's fences.

The first challenge was to get into the paint tin. Mridula put her engineering degree to good use and with the help of random kitchen implements provided by Ms M finally managed to get it open.

While treading very carefully around Ms M's plants we did a first coat on a couple of the fences, and a second coat on some others where other good gymmers had come before us.

We all chatted together while painting which made the time fly. Finally, with a satisfied/proud growl from Mrdiula, we decided it was time to call it a day (not least because it was becoming difficult to feel our fingers). We will be back again to put the final coat on.
