Today's mission was a shopping trip for Ms C, who is shielding due to various health concerns. After a quick phone call to discuss her shopping list, I set off for her local Asda (or 'The Asda' as we always call this particular supermarket in Liverpool - why, no-one knows!) Having shopped here myself on many occasions, I was able to whizz round the shelves in no time and after a brisk walk (stopping only to admire the flowers in The Asda car park) delivered everything she needed.

It can feel a little daunting at first, but it's very satisfying to feel that you've made a difference to someone who needs a helping hand.
