Southwark

Mission

Nothing by halves.

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

I rang Ms B in advance of today's shop to not only get her list but also some guidance as to where she preferred her shopping to come from - in this case the large Sainsbury's on the interestingly named Dog Kennel Hill.

Ms B had recited her list in mostly shop aisle order, which was a great help as this was my first visit to this particular supermarket and I managed to find almost everything on her request list apart from half a cucumber, for which I had to ask an assistant, who confirmed, with a slightly surprised look on his face, that they didn't sell these in their store! Fortunately whole ones were readily available, so Ms B will just be eating double rations of cucumber this week as a result.
