Note to health
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

I met Melissa outside Mr J's house for what was her second ever GoodGym task! Outside the house was a note from Mr J's daughter thanking everyone who'd helped him and letting them know he was OK and looking forward to coming home from hospital.
We were let in by his carer and set to work moving most of the furniture out of his living room to make space for his hospital bed.
The house was covered in thoughtful notes from his daughter. There were even several sensors in the house which triggered recorded messages from her, so he'd hear a familiar voice. What a lucky man!
Towards the end the carer got a call from Mr J's daughter - just to tell us thank you for our help.
It was a reminder of what a difference just an hour of our time can make! And welcome to Goodgym Melissa - what an important time to join!
