Tonight we welcomed Will to GoodGym for the first time, It’s great to have you on board.

Tom did the front marking and Sam the back, as we headed too our task destination. 3k in total was completed by our arrival as we were warmly greeted by Megan. There was plenty to do, first job was to move some tyres from one end of the wildlife area to the other (hence this weeks pun). Then Karin and Laura did a fine job of spray painting the tyres as they are to be used as planters. Whilst Laura and Karin did that, Aaron and Will created an area for a compost heap with sticks. The rest of the group had plenty to do, some having the very physical job of removing ivy from tree trunks and the others doing a litter pick.

After doing a grand job we headed back to 1000 Trades, this time via the canal. That took us up to a nice 6k in total.

Next week we will be out doing good again, it would be great if you could join us sign up here.
