I ran a quick 1km to complete a welfare check for Mr.W, as Hackney Adult Social Services had not been able to reach him recently.

Mr.W is originally from Newcastle and had a strong accent - we had a lovely chat about Newcastle and Glasgow and when and why we both made the trip down to London. He said he wasn't in need of any urgent help at present and that he hadn't been too lonely during the pandemic as he had a couple of friends he was in regular phone contact with. He mentioned that he had a new phone number which Hackney Social Services might not have and that he could use some help booking a GP visit, both of which I said I would pass on for him.
