A group of GoodGym runners braved the early showers on Saturday morning to help the team at the Arc Centre set up for their Summer Street Party. Special shout out to Andrea on his first ever good deed - welcome! - and Samsam whose home borough is Ealing but who was in the neighbourhood for some parkrun tourism.

Well it was raining when we arrived but thankfully it soon stopped and we were able to go about our good deeding in unexpectedly dry conditions.

The Arc Centre were setting up for their Summer Street Party and we helped them: (1) weed and re-landscape with woodchip two enclosed garden areas; (2) set up a gazebo; (3) do a flyer run for the event in the surrounding streets; and (4) taste test the cupcakes.

A job well done we then decamped en masse to Popham's bakery around the corner, because, well if you've ever been you'll know why.
