2 Runners ran (well drove really) to paint the fence at the Furze Platt Memorial Hall.

This was third time lucky on getting this task completed, previous teams had be thwarted by torrential rain and then Lockdown 2.0, but the GoodGym team is not one to be deterred and they finally got their chance tonight.

The Memorial Hall is used by many members of the Furze Platt and wider Maidenhead communities, including Little Fishes playgroup, ballet classes, and the church youth group amongst many others.

Amy and Jess met with Stephen and Hazel at the Memorial Hall, on a thankfully dry night ,to paint the fence at the front of the hall's carpark. This was a job Stephen faced completing on his own so was grateful for the company and extra pairs of hands.

The team made quick progress on the fence panels whilst avoiding the brambles and the wildlife,.....athough one spider is now a fetching shade of brown...ooops! ...., and the fence looked as good as new a mere 45minutes later. Amy and Jess felt that the new look fence will rival the many Christmas light displays and passers by will admire the handiwork!

There are many oppotunites to get involved with Goodgym before the end of the year check out the full listings here and don't forget to re(fence)post to your friends and family!
