Kiddies' Cabin, a local NHS-run daycare nursery has 77 fence panels that need painting. The sun came out for us this morning and Anita, Rachel and Sheila gathered to make a start on the epic task. Leigh, the nursery administrator explained the task and provided us with all the equipment we needed. After protecting the ground with cardboard, and dusting off the area, we decanted the paint into buckets and each took on a panel. After 90 mins, we had finished 3 panels and made a good start on the next one. Only 73 and a half to go! We hand the task over to the next session this evening........ Sign up here At the end of the session, we had a surprise visit from Amy and Kanika who presented Anita with her well-deserved 50 Good Deeds medal, and Sheila provided chocolate lemon drizzle cake to celebrate. Congratulations to Anita on her rapid half-century of Good Deeds (is this a W&M record?), she has been such a welcome addition to the group. Watch out for her century very soon!
