No rain no gain

Frances and I made our way through the London drizzle to help Mr & Mrs C manage their garden.

Our main task was to get rid of all the weeds in the front garden and prune the conifers. These weeds were pretty stubborn and almost impossible to get out from between the slabs. One hole punctured in a glove later and we’d tackled most of the weeds, with an extra sweep to attempt to make the area look a bit neater in the rain.

Frances then removed the bindweed from the rose bushes in the back garden and gave them a pruning whilst I had an attempt at neatening up the back garden, tugging at weeds found around the edges and from between the concrete slabs.

After bagging up the garden waste and putting the tools back, we bid our farewell to Mr & Mrs C and thanked them for giving us a little snack for the road!
