No eggscuses

This afternoon I did some grocery shopping for Mr M, as he and his wife are self-isolating and are unable to leave the house.

This involved visiting four different shops, queuing for entry, searching empty shelves in vain, making guesses about what was meant by imprecise terms on my shopping list, and a touch of anxiety stemming from proximity to others in narrow shop aisles at a time when distancing is the new norm.

Yes this was quite different from any other GoodGym mission I've been on before. But I did it, to the best of my ability. Mr M was the recipient of a bag of groceries. Hopefully that will make a nice difference for him and his wife over the next few days.

Couldn't find any eggs, though. Maybe neggstime.
