Here's what Ms L of SW8 had to say about the mission:

Mrs L said that she feels 10 years younger having had you to visit. She is very grateful to you both, thank you!

Ms L of SW8, mission beneficiary

This Saturday afternoon Nicky and I met near Stockwell for what we thought was a curtain fixing mission. However, this week Mrs L. had the visit of someone who came to measure her windows to fit double glazing and that person kindly fixed the curtains for her.

So the only remaining job was to take out a few rubbish bags. Because of her disability, Mrs L. can't take them out herself. So it was a real relief for her to see all the bags she had go. While Nicky was busy chatting Mrs L. :-) (to us, the most important part of any mission!), I gave Mrs L.'s flat a good clean, just to make sure all the rubbish that got accumulated didn't leave any germ. A very different mission for both of us, but still having a great impact on someone's life.
